These courses aim to equip new users or refresh existing users with the key skills required in order to prepare and produce corporate tax computations and returns in Alphatax using Accounts Analysis schedules.
New User: Accounts Analysis
This course is designed for individuals who do not have any previous experience of Alphatax using Accounts Analysis. Delegates will learn how to produce a computation and CT600 using Accounts Analysis schedules function by working through a comprehensive set of case studies covering:
- Setting up a Profit & Loss Account and Analysis.
- Making tax adjustments for:
- Provisions
- Depreciation
- Interest payable and receivable
- Capital allowances
- Disallowable expenses
- Dividends
- Utilisation of Losses
- Chargeable gains/losses
- E-filing
Refresher: Accounts Analysis
This course is designed for experienced users of Alphatax using Accounts Analysis so prior knowledge of Alphatax is mandatory. Delegates will cover more complex case study examples in Alphatax beyond those covered in a New User course including:
- s940 CTA 2010 transfer of trade
- R&D tax credits
- Transfer pricing adjustments
- Intangible assets
- Capital disposals
- Accounts Integration
- Overseas Royalty Income
- Property Income
