Alphacat simplifies the entire reporting process from data import, data validation and review to reporting and fully automated production of XML reports for submission and further reports for analysis.
Alphacat supports a range of data import options. A standard Excel template is provided with the engine. This template clearly describes the data required for FATCA and CRS reporting and the expected format of the data, helping you source the correct data and get the report right first time. Alphacat supports multiple data feeds from different sources as well as manual data entry.
Validation – Alphacat performs thousands of separate validation checks on the data uploaded to ensure that it conforms to the requirements of the relevant submission schema and receiving tax jurisdiction. Any exceptions are highlighted, with direct access to then edit the individual items affected.
Analysis – Visualisations and reports on the content of your submissions, including analysis of the number of reportable accounts and reportable account details, are available to give you comfort that your data is correct and complete before creating the XML for submission. Reports are exportable as Excel files and in other formats.
Multiple jurisdiction reporting – Alphacat produces the required XML files for reporting under FATCA and CRS across multiple jurisdictions. Contact us to find out more.
Review – Human-readable copies of the data included in the XML are automatically generated by Alphacat, making it significantly easier to review and approve the content of a report prior to submitting it.
Approval – Audit trails are kept through the life cycle of the creation of a submission, including capturing user approval of the content for submission. For added comfort, the ability to approve a report can be restricted to specific users.
